John Edwards cheated on his wife. That’s just as bad as what Darth Vader and Hannibal Lecter did. I’ve tried to avoid all the Edwards-centric cartoons, because this is not a vital news story, this is not even news. It’s low gossip wrapped up in a tabloid sheen and seized upon by a media desperate to fill the next six months with anything except substantive reporting or analysis.
